Campaign Targeting Considerations

If you are running multiple Meta campaigns. We recommend the following strategy to avoid cannibalization:

  • Geographical segmentation
    (cities, states etc.).

  • Product/service split.

  • Must have geo-specific financial licenses and adhere to local regulations.

  • Avoid advertising payday loans or loans with exploitative terms.

  • Avoid misleading claims and guarantees ie. don't promise unrealistic returns or guaranteed financial success.

  • Clearly disclose all fees, interest rates, risks, and terms associated with the financial product or service on Creatives.

  • Targeting options may be limited based on location and age.

  • Maintain professional and ethical standards in your ad creatives. Avoid sensational or misleading claims, and ensure visuals are appropriate for the target audience.

  • The landing page linked to your ad must also comply with all Meta policies and accurately represent the advertised product or service.

  • Respect user data privacy and ensure any data collected complies with relevant regulations like GDPR and CCPA.
